I was just about to post something about buying a new house with a baller garage and never using it to work on cars. You probably spent more time working on cars when you had to lay on a driveway outside, haha.

Building red neck paint booth...
Always something playing in the background with beer open, naturally....
In the meanwhile, I've been stealing parts bought for the track car to put in the nb. Namely, the twin disc from 949 and the 6spd. I currently have an open diff, but will look for torsen or modded Kazz. Will likely have to upgrade the 425cc injectors to ID 750s. CHRA is being replaced with Garrett gt bb-series (not sure what WorkTurbos is using).
So for the track car...still need aem infinity, another twin disc, built short block with 11:1 supertechs and Manly rods, some transmission (? Likely Quaife gear set), and other ****.
Paint dude owes me, so prepping cars for non-functional coolness...

Discussion point #1:
oh also i wanted to ask you if you know anything about wiring? i think itd be simple but im not sure i want a taillight kill switch, so i can run headlights and no taillights if need be, including no break lights then flip the toggle back on and have them work normal again.
Discussion point #2:
too sick to race it imo. hopefully its a time attack miata but i couldnt find any info on it. but okay sweet, any hints?
The kid is close to you, Bryan. You should pay him a visit...you will go from zero to hero!

Lol, thanks guys yeah Jesse, will have to get you in the passenger seat when she's complete. Same for both of you Collin and Joe... maybe I won't shear 3rd gear this time. That was so sad, Joe.

Not resting, just wishing I didn't dig such a big freakin' hole for myself.
Btw, I thought Jesse was Chris, aka Vehicular... sorry Chris, but Jesse, if you read this, if we ever meet in person, please excuse the staring at the fig leaf/blue corsage tattooed on your neck. It's pretty ;o)
Track beast: properly de-powered the steering rack and welded the input shaft (or whatever the hell you call it). Decided to go with 10.5:1 Weiscos and Carrillo rods.
NB: primed for paint, block painted, Super Miata clutch/flywheel combo on order, head back from machine shop (nothing special, just new stem seals and valve re-seat), Boundary single shim oil pump also on order, full-fender NB flares arrived...

Going to town with sawzall. In process of removing windshield (need to get template before it's all busted up), 10.5:1 Wisecos and Carrillo rods ordered and on the way... that's where my funds dried up for the moment. Not pictured but re-installed the modded depowered rack... super smooth.
