JGTC wing is back! Shoutout to @Midtenn for making it happen. I just knew how I wanted it to look, he brought it to life. For only $70 at sendcutsend can always make some adjustments later, but I'm very happy with this iteration so far. It's fully mounted at this point, just need to drill additional holes for angle adjustment. As pictured it's at +5 (relative to frame rails), which I doubt I'll ever even use, but wanted to start with most aggressive angle so the trailing edge of wing didn't end up above the pylon.

No huuuge work to do befor GLTC at Mid-Ohio, but after a two week set back from lower back issues got some consistent work to do until then to be ready.

One side of make-shift livery done last night, gotta finish the other side tonight/tomorrow, then nut/bolt check and start loading up van. Off to Mid-Ohio this weekend to see what we can do on 245/10s with re-baselined setup (1100f/600r springs) with 40" 9lr wing. Should be back into a perfectly good state of handling where the only answer is to drive better.

The car looks awesome and I love the new iteration of the wing. Those uprights/endplates look super cool and unique, totally fits the car.

I love it when someone goes down their own path instead of just following a standard recipe. Sure, it's more development headaches, but that's part of the entertainment for us onlookers!

The wing looks great! The whole aero package looks great! Can't wait to see what you do next.

Cats, poscats for everyone!

Thanks gang, glad people enjoy the car despite not being a technical marvel like pats drag miata (gawd dang that thing is sick!). It doesn't have to be good, it just has to be good enough

Here's the finished product/full body shots.

It's nice when media dudes start a racing organization we all win with the content.

Hey Cabo, you said the wing was only $70 at send cut send, is that correct? I presume that's just for the uprights?

I've never used SCS but I figured something like that would be much more expensive. Might have to find an excuse to use them if they're that cheap (relatively).

The car looks sick. Being an Exige fanboy I love seeing the mohawk intake.

$70 was just the mounts/uprights in 1/4" aluminum (the cheap one), yeah. I dunno how it's so cheap, but I'm consdiering making a lot more stuff now like bumper block offs and a finish panel for my exhaust.

Woooooo what a weekend. Got a ton of great racing in despite being stuck in the "A" group for race 3 and 4 (60 car field so they ran split races A Main / B Main this weekend). I was solidly front pack of B pace, but mechanicals and DQ's had a few A Mainers stuck in B and people like me stuck in A, oh well. Had a blast, car ran great, and overall happy with my driving. Ran a 1:38.6 in Race 3 and had the optimal for a 1:37, but instead of taking everything I had learned all weekend and applying it I decided that in Race 4 I would over drive entires the entire race and generally be a hooligan, but it was a blast regardless.

Watch out for the atomic bump draft I call in on lap 2, mistakes were made. Right when he got to me with huge head of steam I ran out of 4th gear, got mechanical over revved and loosened up big time while shifting to 5th, woops.

Great video, thanks for sharing. That was some great driving in what looks like an awesome and competitive field. I loved the brz re-pass on the last lap, never let them take it!! And lol at the bumpdraft, nice save tbh

Awesome watch! Great job reeling the pack back in after that correction at the 6-minute mark. Looks like it was a damn ton of fun!
