I just checked my dwell curve I'm running between 5.76 to 3.96ms starting at 12v up to 14.7v. my car runs typically at 14.4-14.6v which is kinda high for alternator output but I like it that way with the hydra bc it keeps the car from idle surging when the fans kick on.

Here is a little teaser for you all, we just have to edit all the clips together. This was a 2/3/4 pull on 21psi. It was really hot today like 90* so I was actually getting traction on the Maxxis VR1 since they stick pretty good if they are warm.

I appreciate the looking out, but I've done like 100+ pulls on that road over the years. That's where I do all my logging and vd runs bc it's flat and it's out in the county where nobody really messes with you

I understand. You missed my point, it is not the neighbors you need to watch out for.
It is the viewers, and LE, if you or your car are identifiable in a video uploaded to SM or the like. Local guy lost licence and big fine that way, but perhaps you don't have a speed limit there, Or for other reasons, you don't have to worry about someone seeing a video and saying 'look at that bloke driving at crazy illegal speeds, I need to report him before he kills somebody'.
Here endeth public service announcement, we take you back to normal programming.

I mean I've been posting this kinda stuff for years now. I guess I'm not to worried about it as I believe the police have more important things to do but I could be wrong lol. Either way, just enjoy the sound of the car let's not worry here. Lol

Here in Arizona there was a video that went mildly viral of a Lambo doing over 200MPH on a newly opened stretch of highway. The news ran stories on it and that's when police went after him. They used the video to impound the car and charge him with a bunch of stuff but none of that stuff sticks to rich people. This was at least a decade ago, so yeah they'll try to get people with videos but only when it's kind of high profile.

Lol, you are awesome you know that?! You pretty much exactly described my personality when you said " he doesn't give a **** ". Basically I like my car to be as simple as possible and make the most power I can while not overcomplicating things. Keeping the OEM harness, fuel system, coils, and no reroute is just simplicity. Could a a reroute be a good idea.... Probably. However every time I pull the head off my engine #4 doesn't look any worse off than the other cylinders. My coolant temps never get over 203* and that's even after long *** 5th gear pulls to redline. KISS = KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

I think I'm gonna take the car back to the dynojet soon. Also my old head that I could never find the crack on....I want to cut the head up and look at it for science. Probably will do a video of me cutting the head up. Wanna get a look at how good (or bad) the casting really is.

How do you like the damper? I like that it's not a press fit like the ATI and I like the fact that it's viscous. I think it will smooth the engine out quite a bit from what I've read. What have you noticed with yours?

Engine is notably smoother. I had a oil pressure gauge bobble, that was caused by engine harmonics at high RPM, and it went away with the damper. Just feels better overall, and makes me feel better about abusing the car on the track at high RPM on a stock oil pump.
