Yeah, I am following that guide. Eatsleeptinker.com has essentially the same guide too. That NASA AZ one is the only one I've seen with the pump on its side. I'm not convinced that is needed.
Got most of the supplies in for the cooler. Here is the layout. Need to get the final small things (screws, sealant, 3/4" hose)
Made a template for a switch plate for the dash. Removed the HVAC controls and hard wired the physical controls to heat and defrost. Removed the extra duct work too.
Finally got my shipment from 9LR. Haven't had a chance to mount the wing yet, but put on the splitter mount. I think I'm probably going to pull off the ducting portion and run my own ductin .
Other than that, still waiting on a shipment from Kmiata...
The clean logos on the aluminum side supports.. "ok, I can deal with that... I get it, product branding.. you probably wont see that anyway"
The logo hacked into the center of the air duct... "wtf.. why you spend the time machining this huge ugly stick man into a highly visible area of my car. save the cycle time on your manufacturing and leave him out!"
I'm under the impression you can flip the center duct over 180 degrees so the logo isn't visible?

You can't really flip it over. It's mildly bent down. I think its meant to follow the curve of the stock bumper in ducting only mode.
That duct panel is not very useful with a full racecar. None of the "ducting" comes close to the radiator. The more I look at it, the more I plan to build real ducting. I don't think the K will need it, but it will let me run a smaller bumper opening.
Mounted the wing the other night. Need to trim the trunk lid and apparently flip the end plates around. Lack of directions was frustrating, but not the most difficult project.
Well, still no swap kit... a couple people here local have theirs already. They're both 5 speed cars though, so I bet it has something to do with the 6 speed slave cylinder.
Did do a few things today. Put on my ebay idler and tensioner. Note to anyone doing this swap, make sure your engine has this idler bracket, it's a total pain to find by itself.
Also, finished my cool suit cooler mounting and drilled my new cooler. I managed to not crack this one! Have both hose fittings through, wiring harness on, and pump mount installed. Letting the sealant dry before I clean and leak test it.
Heading out to figure out where I want to mount the battery now.
Drilled out the threads in the riv-nut and replaced the retaining bolt with a pin to make the splitter fully quick release. I don't know why it didn't come from 9LR this way. Also, removed that "ducting" panel.
Finally cut my trunk lid for the wing and put it back on.
Pressure tested my cooler and it leaked around the wiring connection . Need to add more sealant.
