I enjoyed your other build and posts; you've been a player when it comes to fast turbo miatas that go fast on a track for sure. This build should be awesome too. Its even better that you did all that driving the car to the track.
I can say from experience though, a super light real racing car with a simpleish NA engine is great. I have a 240sx lemons car that I co-own with a couple of dudes. Its pretty simple and pretty reliable. I took my black miata with the mp62 to a track day where we had the lemons car too and did 4 laps in the miata before I parked and got back in the 240. Both on street tires the 240 was 3 seconds a lap faster on a 1:30 track.
Nothing sucks more than going to the racetrack and not turning laps.
Ok, ok, getting blue balled sucks more but only just.

Every tool we needed to pull the engine less the deadblow and lift:

I don't have room for air in that little-*** garage.
I need to make water return line with the remote thermostat, remove the intercooler, tape-up the holes in the ducting, attach the exhaust, put in the new clutch line, and then I'm off for road tuning and hopefully will get on the dyno this weekend.

I will reduce power to stay in TTD. I still don't know the weight number so I don't know how much power to expect. Maybe Emilio can chime in.
I plan to corner balance and align next week.

I also suspect I will go just as fast if not faster with this set-up.

I'm starting to seriously consider picking up a N/A shitbox focused for track use with what I've been reading from you lately.
