btw.. dynoed 396.6whp. and 440+nm torque at the wheels today on a rototest dyno, even with the sucky filter placement. on gas similar to us 93 octane..

Glad to see you over here now as well. Welcome. No worries, newb bashing is the norm over here
I also just noticed the flex joint on the EWG-to-DP joint. I like that. Very, very nice car. Bonus points for the screw-the-man illegal nature of it as well

couple of pics..
80mph 3rd gear , going uphill blacktracking from both rears.. further up the hill, the track has a soft left turn, that is done with the same amount of powersliding, but in 4th gear Doing this in almost all corners is NOT the fastest way around a track, but lots of fun laptimes while i was learning to drive this monster, is withing 1 sec of my friends trackday prepared GT2 porsche 996.

thanks
and yes.. the dual chamber setup works, we have been using it on several cars now..
aero mods.. yes. the car will get some aero mods for track use this winter..
btw.. here is a small inboard clip..
1-2 gear is totally useless so i tried not getting hard on the gas, but it would still rip loose. .. 3rd gear was flat out, but will still spin all the way out.. but this is on a ver cold day, with slightly damp roads..
on a hot summer day, it will hook up like crazy even in 2nd gear..
with the 3.63 diff and 6speed, the 4th gear will go to 113mph, 5th gear to 140mph.. etc. and i pulls STRONG in all gears. at any speed
theres something cool about outdragging a 911 with a "ruf" sticker on the back, and then getting to see the owners face

When you get that car track sorted, you need to call Top Gear and offer it up for some Stig time on their track. It would be sweet to see a Miata placed high on their board.
Realistically though, they probably get a million offers a year for test cars. But you never know...

Yeah but technically his would be a car is somewhat rare, or unusual, and it would be interesting to test. The main complaint about the miata is its lack of power, and how ofter do you come across one with 400whp. If it put a 911 ruf on its *** like he claims I would give it a shot and try, the worse you can get is a no.

How not to autoX
just coming out from a 360degree turn around a barrel , got really wide and almost hit the wall
go in to the slalom section WAY fast.. like 20mph to high
flip 180 and kick the cone away with the rear wheel..
The newfound power caught me of guard, and i entered the slalom part at probably 20mph faster than i should have ended in a big spin and hit the cone backwards :P
got my act together and posted the best laptime of the day right after this 3 second improvement from my last personal best

thanks, spent a lot of time on the IM.
Still modifying the car . installed a osgiken diff(the torsen was just about dead after one season , the engine and wide r888's are putting a lot of stress on the drivetrain).
also got a gtc200 wing for the car. Making a front splitter for it too.. and probably putting hoosier R6 tires on it for trackdays..

I'm sure many here would be interested to hear how much better you like the OSGiken diff compared to the stock torsen. There has been a bit of discussion lately on differential options for high power cars, including the OSGiken.
