I did a little tlc on the car getting it ready for track days coming up, it started mostly cleanning things up and ended up swaping the motor (motor was running ok but has a leaking exhaust valve, plan on freshing up that motor as i have time) installing the square top manifold fuel lab fuel filter and EFR super core that i have had sitting on the shop for a year, replaced the clutch, moved the brake proportioning valve into the cabin.
i still want to make a splitter before the first track day coming up in a month New super coore Old super core that cheued some piston parts about 3 years ago, it was still running ok LOL Some general plumbing clean up and a new fuel filter Boost and brake adjustments on the fly
Looking great Harold. The in car brake adjustment looks awesome. It seems like there was some issue with installing it when we talked about it last year. If you need any help with anything don't hesitate to give me a shout.
Zellers88, thanks for the help offer, i put the brake adjuster while the engine was out and had some time that seems to always be in short supply LOL, did you finish up fixing your car?
Consealer, ended up driving the Miata to work after hitting a deer this morning the truck is in the shop getting a repair estimate for bent hood rh fender bumper cover busted headlight leaking radiator condencer dadiator support etc, hope the insurance will fix it since i dont want to buy a new truck right now.
The Miata is still without the front bumper since i am working on installing some 3D printed brake duct inlets and removable splitter for track days so i got quite a few double takes as people go by LOL
Josh said something about being in Brownsburg and seeing/hearing a crazy-sounding black miata without a bumper driven by a distinguished gentleman. So, i figured it could only be one guy.
We're so lucky to live close to that place, I'll never forget my first race there!
i loved running there, the video was of part of my fist session there, rying to figure what gear to be in, what line to take and so on, i will be doing track days there every time i can from now on, such a great track!
Just stopped by to say hi. It's Craig with the silver NB. Look forward to seeing you back at the track again. My only day left this year is going to be NCM in October though.
