Fowler's turbo build
It has been nearly 6 months since I have been accumulating parts to start my build. Last year I had sold off my NB to pursue some racing dreams but that didn't end up to well. After dreading selling my car I wanted another toy to build so I decided to go with a Foxbody Mustang. After realizing how dumb I was I turned around and sold it and began my search for another miata. Well in March I had picked up a cheap 93 with a 96 swap and hardtop.
Only pic I had of my NB before the upgrades and selling
I got a great deal on the car so I decided to roll with it and eventually do a turbo build. The interior was not to shabby, the clean MazdaSpeed Miata seats made the ride much more relaxing. Not knowing the current miles on the 1.8 I decided to "freshen up" my engine and did a complete rebuild with forged rods. Took me about 9 hours to disassemble, clean and rebuild the engine in my garage.
I decided to get myself a new steering wheel. I went with a NRG wheel with a Works Bell quick release. I love the new feel and sturdiness of the steering!
After this point I put together a list on what I wanted for my turbo build. I got some advice from Hustler and decided to go his route, talk to Abe with ARTech and Dimitris for my MS2.
I started talking with Abe from ARTech and had him suggest a full build for me. We decided to do his manifold, downpipe, 3" exhaust along with his turbo lines. He suggested I start with a T25 and work my way up to a T28 later down the line. Must I say his setup turned out magnificent!
Then I got with Reverant and had a enhanced MS2 built for the brain. This baby showed up a few weeks ago!
After gathering these parts I decided it was time to do my install, so I went to a buddies shop and we got after it!
There are many things I did not take pictures of over these past 6 months. I had some BC Racing Coilovers installed that I got cheappp from a friend along with my steering wheel and a few other odd end things. I have a lot more pictures to take of my setup and hope to keep this updated as much as possible. For now, I learn to tune. Wish me luck!

Thanks! My car will be nowhere near as nice as most builds on here (including yours Vlad) but for the price I got this baby I can not complain.
Went ahead and spent the money to get the parts I wanted, learned the hard way when buying junk so I went all out. I can always find me a new donor to swap my parts to in the long run once I get more familiar with these cars and tuning.

Sorry, I figured that would confuse some people. I had bought a **** MS1 from a member and learned my lesson not to buy used electronics. Figured I would cut my losses and have a brand new built MS2.
As for turbo it is a T25 from a SR20DET, as soon as I am more familiar I will try my luck with a SR20 T28
The clutch came installed on the car already, fairly new ACT but I couldn't tell you which one I have. The car is a 93 with 96 swapped 1.8 engine and torsen! Like I said, I couldn't let this deal pass.

A/c got in the way to make a flush fit. With the gap I have I still run 190* temps, and that's great with no ducting and the Texas heat of 109* on most days. It looks slick with the bumper on and my new lip, i'll get some pics tonight!

Sarcasm? Cause I wish it was as nice as the green car Hustler. This car needs some work but for the money I have into it I have no complaints. Hopefully tuning gets better, car bogs at 4k rpms but spools to 7psi in no time!

No sarcasm. I've been doing some thinking and I'm probably going to cease tuning cars because I lack the knowledge and experience to do it right. If you can't get it tuned, I'll help you find someone.

That would be great, I definitely will need some help because I have no clue on how these cars are suppose to act. I have a few people that helped out last night and it got better but still not running right. I need to rid of these 460cc rx7 injectors and get me some real ones either now or sometime soon.

hopefully I wont need to swap out my chassis anytime soon! But the real build comes after I get this turbo tuned. 9" 6uls and new paint, thinking the ford mustang sonic blue with black or bronze wheels, may go silver but not quite sure yet. So far I love this car

Hmm I heard the evo 650s? Reverant suggested some type of injector I can't remember right now. But I will run these til I make them out, then bigger turbo, injectors, rebuilt engine, depends how horny i get
