Needed to do a little more cutting. Here in Manitoba we have a law that anything that sticks out more then 2" past your fender needs to be covered. So... this is my attempt at informing any curious authority figure that I fully intend to abide by the law but yet still need to get around. Added my wheel spacers today. I shall now gauge how long brand new wheel bearings last.
Then I went out and got stuck in my back yard. Turns out my light whips double at flash lights. AWESOME! Good thing I have lots of these in stock at the shop. Might need to put some on all my other toys.
Happily missed that tree. Bumper is still in tact!
Once all the getting stuck was done, since I had the quad out there anyway, I cleared the pond and proceeded to put it to good use.

So yesterday I went to go pick up a MSM engine. Guy told me where he lived which was about half an hour away from me. Ok great. Went to go get it last night, turns out it was more like an hour away from me by the time I got to his house. He leads me out into a field and pulls a bucket off the engine. It's not a msm engine. It's a 1.8 mazda engine of some sort. Whatever it came out of, I wasn't interested in purchasing an engine that's been sitting in a field and not even what I wanted. That was annoying.
However in other news...
The Snowdster likes to park on top of snow piles every chance it gets.
It was warm the other day too. Turbo wanted to head into town with me. However he was slightly confused as to where to sit as there's a roll bar in his usual location. He didn't like this. He wants to be up high and looking all magestic.

started cutting up the rear today.
With the help of my $100 pliers that are worth every penny I spent on them cause they are awesome... metal forming ensued.
Used to re-curve the bend of the metal in the opposite direction that they were formed in allowing that inner fender arch to bend upwards with ease and minimal kinks.
There's some sort of correlations between miata's and flowers we just can't seem to avoid...
Here's full droop.
Here's the stock arch vs An Eppic arch

I always seem to have holes in the wrong places on the days when I'm welding or grinding. I was dancing on my chair all weekend...
Got the passenger side all done now.
Needed some black doors for my decals that came in. Forgot I needed the black ones for the white doors on this car and ended up putting the black ones on something else. Next solution was to paint the doors black so I could use my white decals. Today was a quick little "make it black" project. No paint booth. Just git er done.
And one of my awesome previous employee's came by to help again with some of the work load a the shop. He was forced to acquiesce to my request of being my model or surrender his paycheck. I like being the boss. I use my power for important things...

Decals on. I like the black doors a lot. I wonder how long till it takes me to get the rest of the car painted.
That tongue adds so much character.
One of my renters found an app on his phone and now I'm being flooded with funny photoshops.
