Mine runs 325 wheel horsepower on the track without any issues and put just a couple of drops of oil and a few drops of condensation in the catch can.
how are you venting the intake manifold side?

I had a threaded aluminum boss welded in that I bought on eBay or somewhere. Connected a large diameter npt to hose nipple fitting and then a large diameter hose to a vented catch can. I capped off the manifold.

I also opened up all the internal passages to allow the airflow to slow and drop some of the oil vapor that was in suspension. Increasing the diameter of the hoses and all of the orifices will allow the vapor speed to slow down and those oils to settle and drain back. The speed of the flow is what carries the oil out. I also added a scrubber in the chamber in the valve cover. Both sides.

Thank you. I'll have to check your build thread and see your modified valve cover. Unfortunately I have another drift even coming up in 2 weeks, so I won't have time to make any significant changes. So I'll have to keep the IM routing with the PCV installed. and if the can start to fill quickly I'll have to plug that on the valve cover for the event.

I'm lazy, so instead of modifying the VC I just threw money at the problem. Picked this up to try.

New catch can

Plugged the PCV port, temporary thing. if everything works, I'll plug it up nicer.

Hopefully this setup works and the can doesn't fill immediately or blow out the breather lol. Fingers crossed.

Forgot to post the new oil cooler setup.

First, old giant setrab. I had it installed horizontally in the bumper brace, it was too big, no great spot to put it. When I had it installed between the intercooler and radiator, water temps went up quick on track, it was blocking too much air flow.

New baby setrab.

Since the new cooler is so small, and there's no great location in the Miata for direct air flow, a fan was added.

Shroud

Install

The fan is setup to a switch, I made use of a blank switch on the dash.

Fan works pretty well, oil temps drop a lot quicker with this setup. video clip link of the fan running, I don't know how to embed a Imgur video on this forum.

Drove at the annual Staggered Motorsports Festival at Thompson Speedway in CT. The new catch can and valve cover breather setup worked really well. A little more tweaking (I'm speaking with the manufacturer to improve it), and it should be everyone's go to plug and play catch can / valve cover venting solution. The car ran well, the extra power is really noticeable on full road course, the car boogies.

Here's a video of the event.
