Thanks rallas. And I know it doesn't seem like it would take long. But things add up. And I like to try and keep the car simple and easy to convert to track time.

Quick random question. How sketchy would it be to drill and tap an oil pan. Put an NPT to barbed fitting on, and then cap the barbed fitting until the turbo was installed?
Crankcase shouldn't see much pressure or anything right?

That said, when the turbo has been out of my car for, um, "regulatory" reasons I've needed to plug the drain hole. Currently I do it with a -10 AN plug, but in the past (before I went AN) I've had success with leaving the 5/8" drain hose on it, zip tying it out of the way of the stock exhaust, and shoving a bolt in the end to plug it.

Because that is way more work than I want to put in. I'm just refreshing the engine for this guy. And he wants to use the FM hose. But is too scared to tap it himself. I have the engine on the stand.

I think im going to do a passenger side exit exhaust. I like how it looks. Leaves me room for a muffler if I can't stand the straight pipe. Should be easy to fab. And most of all will **** a lot of you off I hope
I think I just need a little bit of straight from the downpipe. Then 90* up. And 90* back to flat, but rotated facing the side of the car. Then drill a hole in the bumper. Add some trim and profit.
Just like @ThePass'

I've wanted it since I saw yours. not super obnoxious out the middle, but a nice side pipe. I think it will work well.
Also lets me fab it without a muffler and add one later on.
