Well guys, I have a significant update. You can't tell much has happened from this photo, but we've been really busy on this car.
This is a running, driving Miata with a drivetrain that can handle tons of boosted K series torque, and it feels GREAT. Just the fact that its sitting on the ground makes me very happy. We're tweaking a couple minor things and then full details and photos will be posted.
Additionally, it's looking like we will be going turbo with this car instead of supercharger for a few reasons. Once a final decision is made I'll post details. So this will probably end up as a 600+whp turbo car that makes cool noises and shoots flames. After all, I don't want to be an outcast on this forum.

Yeah, but i figured Kmiata isn't dumb enough to use a miata rear end or transmission for over 600whp. I haven't really followed this thread too closely, sorry.
Yes, boost by gear, and peak torque will be under 400wtq. This is a "because we can" sort of build to showcase new parts and K series potential. We also do have more than one customer planning 800-900whp turbo K24 builds, which is completely outrageous.
If/when this thing ends up on a road course at events like Miatas @ MRLS, we'll definitely be turning the boost down.
