The New 1.8 Sub frame and running gear before I let the kids paint it

I need as much assistance as I can get because building this thing out of my shed in Collie has left me with a lack of support in town. Unless its got a V8 and drops skids they can't help...

Well the car is finally back together and managed to survive 2 days of abuse at this weekends ADGP weekend. Luckily I had some great advice from Leon at Beyond Custom who had highlighted the potential danger of my water lines over the turbo. While it was safe for day to day driving going hard on the track would result in those hoses cooking and bursting causing more heartache!

Given my lack of experience, early braking (trying not to end up like the Hasslehof) and considering I was running a maximum of 15psi on the day I know the car has quite a few more seconds left to drop.

I thought I would also take the opportunity to get it on the scales and it came back at a heavy 1156kg track ready (with me in it) at half a tank.

Thanks man, it has been a long year and I suspect next year will be just as long.

I live in WA, "Wait Awhile" is the nickname but it's actually a country town in Western Australia

O have been debating whether or not to switch to a precision PT5858 or similar but I haven't seen a great deal of success with them and may end up staying with garett but switching to the larger GTX35.

Thoughts or experiences welcome?

A quick update with a recent photo from last weekends motorvation show!
http://www.motorplex.com.au/gallery....=gall&gid=347#
Rocking the straw hat for laughs! I have recently replaced my 5" Jap cannon with a twin dual 2" tips just to pay homage to the GT boyz. It actually sounds alot better with straight pipes and one resonator than with the huge cannon. Luckily they are both on V Band so I can swap as I feel like it. Will upload some photo's when done.

I have also had loads of fun trying to get my hoses to stay on at 25psi (normally 16psi). The latest is a 3" split where one blew out. 2Ply Silicon replacements are on the way.
