2JZ Miata 68mm turbo six speed
So I have been working on this for a couple months maybe one day a week when I have time. I have kept a pretty active build thread on the supra forums but I thought I'd share some pictures and info here for fun.
Major parts are
2jz gte vvti motor
Cast manifold
Bullseye 68mm turbo (good for 900+whp on e85 with the current turbine wheel/housing)
1000cc injectors we are going to start on pump gas
6 speed transmission from a 350z
Spec twin disk good for 900ft lbs
Pro efi 128 ecu

Im surprised i have not gotten more negative post cats for this build thread yet.
custom intercooler i had made to a solidworks drawing. Fitting a large core is difficult even more so with a longer motor so this is what we have to work with. It is a bell intercooler core. Everything will be vband and vanjen clamps i hate intercooler couplers.

haha thank you sir
It is on supraforums but i dont want to link it and get in trouble. Anything i work get done moving forward i will be posted on here and there though .
Yeah i had a GR sti that i attempted to daily drive when ever it was running before pulling apart the miata for the 2jz swap. I ended up selling it and buying a new prius .
Here is some videos of that dump lol. My goal was the first GR sti in the 10s..but instead if bent a rod bolt or two on a turbo tuff i beam and then i ended up just putting a smaller 58mm turbo in and a lighter built motor until i sold it 400whp was boring .

Someone should make a setup to use one on a BP it is cheap and would be a good replacement for the current 6 speed swaps even though they are pnp.

Motor can go back in with the trans once we get the pilot bearing i ordered. I did not like the bushing setup that came with the swap kit. I also got the valve covers cleaned up and some -10an fittings welded on.
Some more parts came in.
Can gauge for the pro efi
Also ordered one of the real street catch cans so hopefully we will have that this week.

Oh damn. Straight six Toyota engines are my jam.
I tried my best to break a 7.5 behind a 350 whp 302 and I just ended up breaking the c4 trans... after 10 years of constant abuse.
Any more pics of the dif mounted to the rear subframe?

lol....
All i did was find out my maximum size i could fit, then draw up a model in solidworks with how i wanted end tanks and the 90 degree vband end for adjustment on it then sent it to a shop called fathouse fabrications and then a couple weeks later my intercooler showed up. I did not choose the core or any details around it, it a quality bell ic core though.
