AEM cam crank ig inj phasing setup for VVT motor
#21
Hey Jason,
do you have some '01-'05 good crank vs cam signal scopes with the cam most advanced and most retarded.
I want to see where the cam sync teeth move vs the crank ones and is it possible by cutting 2 of the 3 teeth from the cam mounted wheel (leaving it with just one tooth) make it work along a 12 tooth crank wheel (the single cam tooth not crossing over a crank tooth)

Here is a screen shot of the AEM advanced cam/crank setup, + injector and ignition phasing.
This setup starts and revs in neutral on a VVT motor. I have to verify that advancing/retarding the VVT keeps sync.
This assumes that AEM coil outputs #1 and #2 are being used, and injector outputs #1,2,3, and 4 are being used.
Where coil output #1 goes to coils that fire cyls 1,4
coil output #2 goes to coils that fire cyls 2,3

What would the injection settings be for a setup with batch fuel?
I am just trying to get running with my current wiring. I will do the sequential wiring later when i have time to redo the fuel map.
