Base Tune
I should be getting my adaptronic today. (picking up from post office) and depending on how much time i have, i might begin putting it in.
I saw that stein has a base tune that is supposed to be very good.. does someone have this uploaded somewhere? if someone can email it to me at Serper3@sbcglobal.net, or post it somehow, it would be awesome!
i am going to be running the stock injectors for now and it would be nice to get the tune with the ait already calibrated and the idle set etc.
Thanks!
Henry

cool! so the map in that file is the recent one that stein was running? how much boost boost was that for/how much is safe on stock injectors on 91 **** octane gas?
unfortunately i am having issues currently with my lc1. everyone says its always ground problems but i am not sure..
my lc1 calibrates everytime the ignition goes on..

I believe max you can run on stockers is 8psi and that is already pushing it. If you need the LATEST map I can email it to you, but the one travis provides is good enough to start with. Make sure you dial up the dwell to 5k I think, since stein has his set at like 2k. Also the idle valve settings might need some adjusting to get it to idle right.
MAKE SURE your lc1 is up and running right before you attempt to run the car though. Without it you will have a hard time.

I was running 8 psi on 91 octane on stock injectors. Zero issues with knock.
Just installed Deatschwerks 600's so more boost in my near future. Didn't have time to start it before I left town, but it will be running this weekend.

Here's the dwell curve for the '00 coils:
EDIT: the old graph was wrong:
To reach 5.5A:
10V: 5.9 mS
11V: 5 mS
12V: 4.25mS
13V: 3.75mS
14V: 3.3mS
15V: 2.9mS

i'd aim closer to mid 13V and put in 3.5ish.
or best yet, check your batt voltage while you're driving. a datalog is a good idea.
you can use between 3 and 4mS until you find out for sure what your avg voltage is.

Have you played with the adaptive ignition timing yet? That timing map in there from what I could tell is pretty conservative at mid to high loads (as it should be for a base map). In fact I was thinking about transposing my old MS spark map, retarded 1-2 degs, as a starting point, especially since I have slightly less compression in the new motor.
