Did you make any other changes at the same time?

Timing in logs looks stable?

This was the only change that I made. I ended up going back to the 4T wheel so I could get the car home. Everything worked perfectly after switching back.

I don't think I got any logs. The car would die if I didn't keep the throttle cracked. I was watching the F2 window and everything looked ok other than being rich from the coldish start and the VVT angle wandering a bit from 6-10*, with the 4T wheel it was steady at 10* with the same VVT settings. I assumed the angle variation was from the oil not being up to temp.

Weird! Mine idled a bit differently, I put it down to it having more idea of what the real timing angle was so I had to slightly change the closed loop idle parameters.

It's probably best to have a crack at it at home so there's no stress!

If you want a copy of my map shoot me a PM with your e-mail addy.

Cheers

I'm running open loop idle at the moment so I should have been ok there. It really felt like it wasn't firing correctly.

I would have done it at home but it was below freezing out and I don't have a garage.

Thanks, I'll take you up on that offer.

Any luck with getting it to run?

Do you have a log from when it was running?

Was your rpm reading stable? Your car has vvt right?

I haven't had a chance to work on it since last weekend. It's my DD.

No, log. I'll make sure I get one next attempt.

RPM was only stable if I held the throttle open slightly. Correct.

I've come up with some things I'm going to try.
* Switch to batch injenction. When it would initially catch it would run ok for a few seconds and I have it set to use batch on cranking.
* Disable filtering on the temp inputs (maybe the cpu is maxed?)
* Use the trigger divisor to skip teeth.
* Update/backdate the firmware. I'm running 10.xxx and have read that there was a bug in one of the 10.x versions.
