2002 Mazda Mazda - $6500
Category: Import
Status: Clean Title
I have a 2002 Mazda Mazda for sale, in USA - Arizona.
Mileage: 107000 miles
Engine Size: 1.8
Asking price is $6500
Clean title in hand.
Up for sale is my 2002 SE. 6spd/torsen/etc... I bought it back in July of 2012 or so, drove it from TX out to Tahoe and back to visit some family. Car drove great with zero issues.
Currently located in Tempe, AZ.
More recently I put a supercharger on it. Only put on maybe 150 miles with it on, it no longer has the supercharger. Took it off to fund the purchase of a turbo miata. Brakes were done in August before my drive out to Tahoe. They are the Premium rotors from Good-Win-Racing. The pads are Hawk something or other, the street pads. As a result of the supercharger there is a bit of extra wiring under the dash where I hooked up the BTC and the Voodoo box. So if you ever decide to use either one of those, the wiring is already in place. I just capped the ends of the wires and secured them nicely.
Only two issues, both are just maintenance things. It will need tires in the next 3000-4000k miles. I would recommend a new clutch/flywheel as it suffers from the NB clutch shudder issue. The clutch does not slip, but sometimes there is a bit of a shudder while letting out the clutch. I can provide a 1.8 refinished flywheel with the car.
The timing belt and water pump were done at ~80k as well as quite a bit of other stuff. I bought this car in TX, so no rust at all.
I took off those headlight covers in the photo. I hated them. I'm still in the process of removing the glue on the headlights from them FYI.
The price is pretty firm. Not in a huge rush to sell. Will entertain trades for you car + cash on your end, or straight trades. Looking for something larger.
Once it start's to cool off I will probably end up doing the clutch/flywheel myself, and installing some tires. But the price will go up as well.

I took it for a spin today thinking I'd be ultra underwhelmed after boosting 14psi all last weekend in the 93'. I'm actually shocked at how good it feels. The VVT and high compression make this thing fairly awesome. I've got people lined up from today until Monday coming to look at it. Should be gone quick!
