2000 Honda Civic EX w/ B16 swap, Mugen Diff
MT Bros...I'm selling my Civic. I currently have too many cars and need funds for race car stuffs.
MT price is $3700.
The car has a swapped B16A2 and Si transmission. The transmission has an authentic Mugen differential. The diff retails for ~$1700. The car has ~130k miles, I am the third owner.
I performed the swap ~12,000 miles ago. The engine was freshly rebuilt with all OEM parts. The head has OEM Type-R camshafts with AEM Tru-time adjustable cam gears. Intake is a Comptech Ice Box, header is also a Comptech piece. Transmission had a brand new OEM clutch kit installed at the time of the swap. Also had brand new OEM axles installed and many other new parts installed. ECU is a Hondata S300. AC and power steering work perfectly.
Interior and exterior are basically stock, unmolested EX stuff. Suspension is also basically stock. Wheels are stock steelies...tires are all season BFGs with ~12k miles.
Paint is in decent shape. There are some rock chips on the front bumper and front of the hood. Passenger front fender has a small wrinkle in it.
The car runs and drives perfect. The diff makes some noise in low speed turning, but this is normal for a racing diff. Engine was dyno tuned and makes 160 hp at the wheels. Revs to 8600 very smoothly.
Overall, the car is in good shape, with a clean B16 swap and otherwise unmolested. Has all very high quality, name brand parts on it.
I have a clean Ohio title for the car.
Text or call at 704-nine eight nine-6545 if you are interested.
Throw some suspension, rear sway-bar and wheels and tires on the car and it would be an awesome track day car. Uh....not as awesome as a miata obviously, but still, an awesome, quick, reliable track car.

Word...the gearing isn't ideal for MPGs and the tune could use a illite work in the cruise fuel Econ cells, but i still saw low 30s in combined driving. High 20s if doing more city driving and revving it out more than necessary.

Still have this for sale.
$3400 price drop for MT brothers.
Craigslist people shopping for older Hondas are the worst.
The
Worst
Someone please buy this, otherwise I'll have to sell the turbo Miata and daily this thing instead...
